3D
Texture & material generation
Generate seamless PBR textures or re-skin 3D models from text and images.
What it is
Texture APIs create the surface appearance of 3D assets: tileable materials (brick, fabric, metal) with PBR maps, or full textures painted onto an existing mesh from a prompt or reference image. 3D generation (making the mesh itself) lives in its own field.
How pricing works
Billed per texture set or per retexture job, typically in credits. A set usually means one material with several maps. We normalise to one texture set at default resolution (1024-2048 px).
We compare everything in one unit: USD per texture set.
Typical uses
- Game environment materials
- Re-texturing purchased or generated meshes
- Product visualisation variants
- Architectural visualisation
What to compare
- Seamless tiling
- Consistency across UV seams
- PBR map accuracy
- Resolution
Watch out for
- Projected textures on complex meshes can show seams or stretching.
- Baked lighting in the colour map breaks realism under a different light setup.
- Credits-per-job pricing hides the real cost; check what a 'job' includes.
