3D
Motion capture & text-to-motion
Turn video or a text prompt into skeletal 3D animation.
What it is
Motion APIs produce 3D character animation data (skeleton movement) without a suit or studio. Video-to-animation tracks a person in ordinary footage and outputs a skeleton animation; text-to-motion generates a movement from a description. Results are applied to your rigged character in a game engine or 3D tool.
How pricing works
Billed per second or minute of animation produced, or in credits that map to seconds (extras such as hands or face tracking are often extra). We normalise to one minute of animation; monthly platform fees are not included.
We compare everything in one unit: USD per minute of animation.
Typical uses
- Game and film animation without a mocap studio
- Previsualisation and indie animation
- Sports and fitness analysis
- Virtual production and avatars
What to compare
- Foot contact and jitter
- Multi-person support
- Hand and face tracking

Watch out for
- Single-camera capture struggles with occlusion and fast motion.
- Raw output usually needs cleanup for foot sliding.
- Some providers only give API access on enterprise plans; list prices may be sales-quoted.
